The space
The home sleeps 10 comfortably with the option of 2 additional sofa beds for guest use. Enjoy cooking in a kitchen that overlooks the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains while the kids play on the beach or swim from the dock. The spacious covered deck allows for additional dining especially during the warmer months when outdoor dining is popular. We provide a BBQ, floaties, life vests, beach towels and a row boat to make your summer vacation one to remember.
And let's not forget about the amazing private dock ready for you to enjoy whether it's sunbathing, picnicking, swimming, photos or simply hanging out at ALL DAY LONG. This property is perfect for families, groups or a girl's/men's weekend getaway. This two story home is very large and includes a media room, spacious bedrooms with closets and comfortable bedding and newly remodeled bathrooms with quality towels. It is fully stocked with every detailed considered by the owner and your super host.
The upstairs has a dedicated small children's area dedicated to puzzles, games and toys. It has a small table and plenty of floor space for young children to stay active and busy. One of the three bedrooms has a crib with two twin beds creating a perfect bedroom for younger children.
Guest access
You will enjoy parking in our garage with an automatic door keeping all of your personal belongings private. Having this garage makes it easier and safer to enter and exit our busy highway. The home is located immediately off of State Route 106 so please use extreme caution especially during May-Oct (peak season). The neighborhood is relatively quiet, but know you do have neighbors on both sides of the home. You are approximately 1 mile east of Alderbrook Resort & Spa, local restaurants, our Chevron gas station and other attractions. Getting around is pretty easy - use Highway 106 to Highway 101 when traveling to Hoodsport, Lilliwaup and further north to the Olympic National Forest. Our famous local McReavy Road takes you to Shelton where you will find larger grocery stores and other options for dining. Dalby Road is named after one of our forefathers and home to the Union Square Deli, post office, gym and credit union (ATM).

Verry good trip for all of us, would definietly recomend for anyone who like the piecefull beach house, sunset, mountain view. Union/bellfare water front is my favorite and a good host puts the cherry on top.

Beautiful property and home. 10 of us were very comfortable-beds, deck area, family room, bathrooms, waterfront, dock and rowboat. We cooked all meals for 6 days-breakfast, lunch and dinner plus desserts. Kitchen was great. Coffee maker variety was nice. Cookware was good as were plates/bowls/silverware. Comfortable beds. Upstairs not air conditioned but lots of fans available. Main floor air conditioned. Huge deck and private dock were amazing. We brought fishing equipment and paddle boards which is a focus for some of the family members. Lovely friendly neighbors too. Great experience

We had our family vacation and the house accommodated our family beautifully. We brought our kayaks and Outrigger canoes and enjoyed the water.

we absolutely loved the location and enjoyed sitting on the deck while enjoying the beautiful view! the deck was perfect for our little boys to run around and be safe. they loved the fishing poles :-) the house was great and fully supplied. the host was responsive and flexible with the checkin time, so thank you Kerry! we would love to make this place our annual family vacation spot.

we all had a great time. there was lots of beds and places to get away from each other to read or quiet time. loved all the windows looking over the canal. real nice kitchen with lots of everything we needed. in the evening cable tv would nave been nice. Bathrooms nice and clean

The kitchen had all the equipment, dishes, and utensils we needed, and there was plenty of seating for the five of us to visit in the living room or on the deck. One of our family members has mobility issues, so having a bedroom, bath, dining room, living room, and kitchen all on one floor was appealing. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to others.
